** NOTE: some courses in all Colleges will either remain with WebCT or move early to Wattle. Check with your lecturer if your course is an exception. It is the responsibility of the student to check if your online course materials are located in Wattle, WebCT, both or neither platforms. All Medical School courses remain in MedOnline.

Lecturer and Student Access to Wattle Courses

Through 2009 - 2010 we are phasing in creation of Wattle (Moodle) sites for each course and phasing out the creation of WebCT sites. Over the last several years, every course has had a WebCT "shell" site created for it each time it has run. Shell sites contain no course specific content, but are based on templates designed for use in each College or School. When a course is moved from WebCT to Wattle, a migrated site is created in Wattle containing the materials from the WebCT site which can be easily imported into the relevant Wattle site.

Sites for Semesters 1 and 2 will be available to lecturers for the mid-semester break of the previous semester

Sites for Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring will be available 10 weeks before the commencement of the session
Depending on college policies, these sites will include:

• a shell WebCT site
• a shell Wattle site
• a migrated WebCT to Wattle site
  

Students will be given access to the sites one week before the session begins
